Since the beginning of time herbs and plants have been used to support biological functions. Our Butcher's Blend is a natural canine herbal mix full of vitamins, minerals and trace elements required to help maintain equilibrium in the body for a healthy dog.

Kelp - this organic highly nutritious sea vegetable, rich in vitamins and minerals, has a beneficial effect on your dog’s digestive system. As well as helping to maintain a healthy skin and coat, the rich mix of iodine and minerals in kelp makes it an ideal supplement to help keep your dog’s entire glandular system, particularly the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands, in healthy working order. Ensuring a balanced metabolism is key to maintaining your dog’s healthy weight.

Dandelion - one of nature’s medicinal power-houses, dandelion is one of the richest green vegetable source of β-carotene, from which vitamin A is created. It is also particularly rich in fibre, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, B vitamins (especially thiamine and riboflavin).

Alfalfa - rich in nutrients and minerals including calcium, magnesium, potassium and carotene. As well as nourishing the digestive, skeletal, glandular, and urinary systems alfalfa is known for its anti-oxidant properties.

Nettle leaf -  this rich source of phyto-nutrients (such as chlorophyll, sterols, polyphenols, lignans and gallic acid) has long been used for its positive benefits to the body. Nettle is good for the skin and coat condition, as well as circulation and kidney function.

Turmeric - belonging to the ginger family, turmeric contains a mix of phenolics known as curcumin. Due to its powerful anti-oxidant properties curcumin is effective in neutralising free radicals.

Spirulina - this microscopic algae contains arguably the highest concentration of nutrients known in any food, plant or herb. It has a high concentration of β-carotene, vitamin B-12, iron and trace minerals and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA.

Milk Thistle -  good for liver support.

Thyme - contains vitamins C, A, and K, iron, manganese, calcium, fibre and tryptophan.
